This is by far the BEST fish fry I've had in Buffalo! Although, my husband and I both agree, it could be a close tie with Parker's Proper Fish, I prefer the sides offered with the fish fry at Country Roadhouse Inn! The fish fry is beer battered, perfectly crisp and for me requires no tartar sauce because it's that good! It starts at 11am on Friday and is offered all year round! There are 2 portion options-half and full. The half is always more then enough for me with the sides! For $10.99 for the full size and $8.99 for the half, you get a handful of sides including a dinner roll with butter (roll is a little burnt for my liking), a side of coleslaw which I like here, fries or mashed potatoes with gravy. You can't go wrong with this scrumptious and affordable meal! The fried scallops and shrimp combo is also yummy, but honestly scallops are so good on their own they should be left alone. The fried sampler is also good, but is a dinner special so I don't think it's always offered. I would skip dessert. My husband and I both got a slice of pie (different pies) and neither we're good. The crust tasted raw and the filing tasted processed. It gets busy during dinner so plan ahead. Definitely check this restaurant out!
After spending the day in Niagara Falls we didn't want to spend the evening in an over crowded restaurant at the falls. We came across this restaurant k. The drive home and it was such a gem. The service was great and they were so patient with my little 9 month old! I ordered the broiled shrimp with crab meat and the rest of our party ordered steaks! Not a single complaint. It was delicious!
Love the food & staff here. We're frequent visitors to this establishment and really have no complaints for Friday nights. Service is slow on Thursdays, the food took forever. The shrimp & scallops platter is always a great choice, but there are specials to try & savor. Inexpensive as well.
Every time we went 2015 through 2019 we had delicious food (often the wing specials and sides) friendly service and fun atmosphere! I miss it so much!
